Vinyasa Yoga Level One
All levels are welcome in this warm, 60 minute slow to moderately paced class aimed at building and maintaining a strong aligned body and mind. It combines a balance between slower flowing vinyasa,(postures linked with breath) movements and some longer held postures to learn fundamental alignment and principles. Each class focuses on a key posture to enhance learning. Utilizing props and sometimes music. Level One Vinyasa, does not include shoulder or head stands and is suitable for mixed levels and excellent for beginners.
Vinyasa Yoga Level Two
This powerful flowing class connects movement and breath with poses that are synchronized to the inhale and exhale. We explore a broader range of poses in a moderate to challenging class to cultivate greater awareness through flow and build strength and endurance. This is a 60 to 75 minute intermediate class, set in a warm/hot room, so participants are encouraged to have some yoga experience. The class builds real life flexibility in a playful robust way leaving you feeling connected harmonized and buoyant in body mind and spirit. Props are encouraged and to be used at the participants discretion. Music is sometimes utilized to build expression.
We work on form and fundamental alignment principles (often utilizing props) taking classical yoga postures, one at a time. Breathe and relaxation techniques are also utilized to enhance focus and awareness. This 60 minute class is ideal for beginners who want to build confidence and self-awareness, broadening their knowledge and readiness for a vinyasa but also for veterans who want to solidify and seek a moderately paced class.
Redefine your idea of yoga. In this class we engage the whole body with a mix the lengthening benefits of yoga postures, combined with the strengthening of traditional weight room and mobility movements. This is a 45 to 60 minute class set to uplifting and motivating music. It will boost your metabolism and build long-lean universal muscles and strong transitional muscles. All levels welcome, some yoga experience is helpful. You will need a yoga mat, water and a towel. Shoes are not recommended.
This form of yoga to seeks to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation with gentle “held” stretches that work specifically on hips, pelvis, lower spine and connective tissue with the aid of props. It is especially useful when you need to eliminate fatigue and stress. This class will make your body less vulnerable to stress and overwhelm both physically, mentally and emotionally. It is appropriate for all ages and levels. Please wear comfortable, warm clothing that allows you to move easily.
